MSE Researchers Interviewed by Voice of America


On April 11, Materials Science and Engineering Researchers - Chaoji Chen (MSE Post doc), Ying Zhang (MSE Faculty Asst), Amy Gong (MSE Post doc) and Shuaiming He (visiting Ph.D. student) - advised by MSE Associate Professor Liangbing Hu, discussed the various, novel uses of wood with Voice of America reporter, George Putic. 

Current projects ongoing in the University of Maryland Energy Research Center include using wood for environmentally-friendly energy storage, and most recently, as a filtration device.
